Placid Lassie Liftoff

C-47 'Placid Lassie' takes off for a formation flight with other C-47's and DC-3's at Oshkosh 2018. Placid Lassie was built in Long Beach, California in 1943 and operated with the Army Air Corps in D-Day, Operations MARKET GARDEN, REPULSE, and VARSITY.

Total Eclipse

This is a photo of the total solar eclipse of August 21, 2017 taken from an airplane. I truly believe there was no better place to be than in the air to witness this. It was truly incredible seeing such an incredible astronomical event from several thousand feet. It was a gentle reminder that what's happening on Earth is nothing compared to the constantly changing environment around it.

Downtown Evansville after ShrinersFest 2019
